Enrichment usually fails in one of two ways: it does not run often enough to matter, or it runs so freely that it overwrites something a human knew was right.
Fills specific gaps on contacts and companies from third-party data providers, on a schedule, working from a list you control. Two providers run today: one for company firmographic and technographic data, one for contact email discovery.
A gap is filled; a value is not replaced. Every write is logged with what was written, when, and which run did it, so any change can be traced and undone. When a run cannot establish whether a field is safe to write, it does not write, the failure is recorded and reported rather than resolved by guessing.
Enrichment draws on third-party data providers. What they return is theirs; what Mixbound does with it is rule-bound, logged and reversible. Those providers do not publish how they arrive at an answer, and we do not claim to know. This is the one place in Mixbound where a value written to your CRM originates from a judgement we did not make, which is why the rules above exist and why every write is reversible.
Every run reports what it processed, what it wrote, what it could not resolve, and what it cost in provider credits. A weekly summary aggregates the runs.
